As I grew older I started to experience issues with an overly reactive body and skin every time she felt in a state of imbalance. Faced with skin problems due to her fertility problems, Ammu and I figured out how to treat anything together. In February of 2020, Ammu passed away. In shock at the news of losing my mother I started to think about my life’s choices in the context of. A few weeks away from returning from maternity leave and starting work, I was not in the desire to go back to my previous job and life. Instead, I took the path that would be more satisfying: leaving my job and beginning the initial stage of Ammu Beauty.
The idea was initially conceived as a way of grieving but soon turned into an amazing, results-driven achievement. Ammu Beauty was my method to demonstrate that true outcomes can be obtained organically. What our bodies desire is clean, natural beauty products the ones that have been utilized and recorded in our rituals of beauty for many thousands of years. In a bid to tap into my mother’s knowledge as well as the entrepreneurial spirit of my dad, Ammu Beauty became a method to bring the recipes of Ammu to life and to share them with all of humanity.
