The month of July in 2022 was when we got asked to participate in “Cortona on the Move” which is a photography festival that took place in Cortona, a town Cortona located within the Provence of Arezzo, Italy. The entire event began with a letter sent by Paolo Woods, the artistic director of the festival and culminated with us becoming overwhelmed as the day ended. We left Cortona with new acquaintances and lots of knowledge. We would like to thank everyone we met on our journey. It was a great honor!

Dancing like no other – A smattering of visual poetry
The things we have witnessed, and will continue to see at weddings, inspired this idea
The collaborative process of our creative process has a unique nature that means there is no set beginning point, particularly since we aren’t sure of the kind of form it will take. Tonight, upon returning home from months of travel, with plenty of time and space for our creative energy to be unleashed the game, it took the shape of visual poetry influenced by photos of the moments we’ve captured at weddings.
When Ekta approached me with an assortment of images I began writing. Then things began to come together so that each line in the poem was correlated to the image accompanying it. It grew over time. This is the way you take it. One line with a visual, after that, the next line is with an image.
Because this was created to be a book Use the left and right controls to navigate the pages below.

Although Pooja and Manjot were friends, and were friends for a while, it took time to develop their relationship. The thing they share is a passion for good food, great music and dancing. But they’re very different from one another in certain ways. If you’ve heard of them, you’re aware of what we’re talking about. However, one thing is for sure – both of them are electric.

Mehandi & Shivam are opposites in so many ways, and yet so similar in some.
Mehandi has the ability to brighten any room she’s in, spreading the affection around that it’s amazing. On the other hand, you can discover Shivam inside the exact room, right in the middle of his close family members, trying to keep away from the spotlight.
And after that, Mehandi will come across him and drag him onto the dance floor. Then you’ll be able to see the true meaning of love.

Smiti & Nilesh got married in the magical city of Jaipur, Rajasthan at the (formerly) JW Marriott Resort & Spa. Our relationship with these two began way back, with the first phone call they made to us, telling us they are getting engaged and would like us to document it. From there, to their wedding, and even after, it has been an incredible journey.

#ComeWhatMay. Never has a hashtag been this relevant and meaningful. Over the last year, Aashna & Aniruddh faced whatever challenges life threw at them with a smile on their face and unconditional love in not just their hearts, but also the hearts of their friends and family. And so, when they got married in May at The JW Marriott in the mountains of Mussoorie, ‘Come What May’ had become more than just a hashtag – it was a collective cheer for having conquered hurdles together, and a rallying cry to come together and face any more challenges that life would bring. To stand united in the love of family & friends. And we were fortunate to be in the midst of all this, witnessing and experiencing it, and growing as human beings.

Tammy Kartik’s wedding an absolute surprise for us in many ways. First of all, we’ve never witnessed a bride and groom deciding on their wedding venue in relation to the carbon footprints of the routes that guests and the couple would travel on when they arrived from all over the globe. Also, it was only two of us – Ekta on the camera (mostly) I was on film (mostly). The third thing is that Tammy And Kartik tied the knot three times in just three days! On the initial day they held an unplanned Parsi ceremony that Ekta and I were guests. The next day, they had the Sofreh Aghd and ceremony for the Hindu wedding ceremony was held at the end of day three.
This all took place all at The Taj Vivanta, located on the Rebak Islands in Malaysia. There was a lot happening at this wedding that was so unique and fascinating and interesting that it should be told in a narrative that mixes text and photos. Of course, there is this wedding documentary.
