Their journey to marriage bliss was not without challenges, and they had to endure three heartbreaking delays due to the epidemic. However, their wedding was absolutely unforgettable that included an elopement as well as a spectacular wedding celebration with friends and family. That’s the way to propose “I do!”

Like most weddings held during the epidemic, difficult choices had to be made in the case of Heather and Dillon that meant not just one nor three, but two postponements. However, not wanting to wait longer and in a moment that was utterly spontaneous, the couple opted to tie the knot in Banff. The couple exchanged their vows in the stunning beauty of the wilderness.
As the saying says, the heart desires what it wants, which, in the case of Heather and Dillon meant that they could celebrate their wedding with their beloved family members. After three years of waiting, their dream of a lavish wedding celebration was realized at the magnificent LaSalle Banquet Center, which is situated in the middle of Burlington, Ontario.
The celebration was captured through the lens of talented Alexandra Del Bello, who captured each moment with a stunning camera. From the stunning elegance of Heather’s dress, an original design by the famous Pronovias and the tender gaze of Dillon’s eyes when the couple embraced each element exuded the timeless romance.
The decor of the wedding only added to the romantic feel featuring antique furniture and a delicate blend of the shades of blue, pink and ivory combined with lush greenery. Guests gathered on the veranda, which was a perfect location for a reception. The tables were filled with delicate blue linens as well as elegant floral centerpieces. Overhead, lights from the cafe sparkled and danced as a stunning champagne wall lent just the perfect amount of drama and lavishness. At the center of the whole was the table for sweethearts, which was the place where newlyweds could bask in the light of their romance.
It took three years to see their visions be realized, but the final result was beyond every expectation. Heather and Dillon’s path towards “I do” was a tribute to their passion and tenacity and a reminder that even amid the uncertainty, dreams can come true in the most stunning and romantic ways.
