Over the years, Lin & Jirsa have become experts in Indian Wedding Photography. After a few years, we photographed an Indian Wedding and were referred to other Indian Weddings. The effect snowballed from there, and the majority of our couples are Indian. We feel blessed to have been a part of the Indian Community and capture some of the grandest, most beautiful, and most elaborate weddings around the world.

Indian wedding photography: a creative approach
We don’t just focus on the important moments of your wedding but also strive to capture them creatively. In our photography, we’re constantly looking for reflections, interesting backgrounds, and foregrounds, as well as the perfect lighting. We use a combination of lighting and creative post-production techniques to create stunning, creative images for your Indian wedding.
Indian Wedding Photography: Vibrant Colours
Our ability to capture the vibrant colors using our different techniques has played a large role in our success when it comes to Indian Wedding Photography. We do not use too many desaturated or “Vintage fades” unless it is necessary. We use techniques to enhance colors in order to capture the full dynamic range of a scene. We use the tools and resources we’ve acquired over the years, from flash photography to HDR photographic techniques, to capture the action, colors and emotions of your Indian Wedding. We have even created our own post-production style and Lightroom presets to provide our clients with consistently amazing images.
Baraat : Photography for the
The Baraat has always been one of our favorite parts of an Indian wedding. Photographers love the excitement and anticipation of the wedding, combined with dancing and music.
From majestic elephants to beautiful horses, we’ve seen all kinds of beautiful and creative animals and things being used by the bride and groom. Even rickshaws from India have been flown into the country. We’ll be on hand to record the Baraat.
Indian Bride and Groom Photographs
Daytime Indian wedding portraits– We love to capture the bride and groom wearing their beautiful wedding outfits during the daytime. The bride is photographed in her traditional Indian wedding attire, and the groom is photographed in his Indian gentleman’s attire. We then move on to the couple portraits. We must get a mix of traditional photos, creative photos, scenic pictures, intimate pictures, and natural/candid photographs. We can capture all of this in a short time with our expertise. We have a few portraits of Indian Weddings.
Nighttime Indian Wedding Portraits – We’re also able to do them at any time of the day, whether it be the morning, afternoon, or even in the evening. Below are just a few images of our nighttime couple’s portraiture for our Indian Wedding clients. In these images, we are focusing on capturing the romantic mood of the scene while utilizing the lights and the environment to add interest to the overall images.
Photographing Indian wedding ceremonies
Indian Wedding Ceremonies, while spiritual and religious in nature, are full of emotions and candid moments. We use a combination of wide-angle photos and close-up photos taken from different angles to anticipate smiles and emotional moments. We know, for example, that when a bride’s married friends bless her, it will be a very emotional moment. So we get into position to capture this. We also know, for example, that couples will have a lot of fun as they race around the fire after walking.

For more information about these important ceremonies and traditions, we’ve compiled a detailed description of Hindu and Sikh Wedding Traditions on our sister website, Wedding Maps.
