We knew we would give it our all when deciding to be wedding and event photographers. We are constantly striving to become the best photographers we can be. This means we shoot a lot, even in our spare time. To be the best, you must be passionate about what you do. We also have an innate desire for our work. We are very proud and excited to produce stunning images for our customers.
Photographic Art
Sometimes the photos we take for ourselves give us great satisfaction. It’s worth it to plan these shoots. We wish we had more personal time, but it takes some planning. We are also very particular about the models we use and the locations we select for our shoots. Georgia, the model we chose for this shoot, was from Queensland. She came to Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup Carnival but made time for us.
Petzval – Photography Magic for commercials shoots in Melbourne
We are excited to introduce the Petzval Art Series lenses as a new addition to our collection of photography equipment. The artistic images they produce are amazing. Our Petzval 85mm, Petzval58mm, and achromat lenses are available. Many photographers don’t like these lenses because they don’t have standard images. It’s perfect for photographers looking to add artistic flair to their photos. Petzval’s lenses produce a circular blur that is stunning. We love this look, even though it’s not for everyone. These images have so much depth they almost look like they’re moving!
Our new approach to photography has received mixed reactions. Most people love it. We’re happy to have styles that appeal to many different clients. Our versatility sets us apart from photographers who only stick to the norm. We love what we produce with our new lenses and will continue improving our skills.
Photographing Melbourne CBD
St. Patricks Cathedral, located in Melbourne’s CBD, was the location of this shoot. A group of beautiful blossom trees were in full bloom at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I had discovered them on a previous trip to the city. It was just what I wanted for my photoshoot featuring Georgia. The day was a mix of rain and sun. We were so focused on taking beautiful pictures that we didn’t notice the warnings from the security guard about the Cathedral gates being locked. We were closed in the grounds of the Cathedral before we knew it. At first, we thought there must be a door open for us to leave. We realized we couldn’t get out after walking around the Cathedral.
Georgia’s inner boy-tom came out, and she began to climb the fence. I feared that Georgia could impale herself because of the spikes on fence posts. Despite a busload watching us, we could both get onto the public fence side. What a fantastic experience! The security guard who saw us clearly could have asked us to leave. He was probably having fun from afar, watching us try to escape the predicament.
These photos are exceptional. These photos were worth the lock-in. I hope you enjoy them!
